Please note that this adapter requires custom firmware to function:

  • Firmware Requirement: Requires a PS Vita running custom firmware (e.g., HENkaku / h-encore on firmware 3.60 to 3.68+) to mount the adapter as primary storage (ux0).
  • Formatting: Micro SD cards must be properly formatted (texFAT / 64KB cluster allocation) before initial mounting.
  • Hardware Note: This adapter replaces the game card slot, leaving your original proprietary memory card slot open for dual-storage configurations.
