Frame Blending (FRM): Frame blending can be switched on or off for games that benefit from the effect. FRM is off by default and is generally not required for most games.

Touch Controls: Built-in touch controls allow adjustment of brightness and colour modes.
Optional Button-Controlled OSD
For full control of the OSD menu using the console buttons, three wires must be soldered during installation.
Once installed, press and hold Select + L + R for approximately one second and release the buttons to open the OSD menu. Use Select to move between adjustment options and the L / R buttons to change the selected setting.
Soldering is optional. If you do not require button-controlled access to the OSD menu, the display can be installed without soldering the three OSD control wires.

Complete No-Cut Drop-In Upgrade
Traditional GBA IPS upgrades can require shell trimming, LCD positioning and careful alignment of the screen and lens. This kit removes much of that work.
The Hispeedido V5 laminated IPS LCD comes already installed and aligned inside the replacement shell. The housing is specifically designed around the laminated display and USB-C battery system, meaning no shell cutting or trimming is required.
Simply disassemble your original Game Boy Advance, transfer the motherboard and required original components into the new housing and connect the supplied IPS display and battery components.
32-Pin & 40-Pin Compatible
The kit is compatible with both 32-pin and 40-pin original Game Boy Advance motherboards. Two ribbon cables are supplied, allowing the correct cable to be used for your particular GBA revision.

Please Note: This kit is designed exclusively for the original Nintendo Game Boy Advance (AGB-001) and is not compatible with the Game Boy Advance SP. The laminated IPS LCD is already installed in the replacement shell and the housing requires no cutting or trimming. Installation requires your original GBA to be disassembled and its motherboard and other required components transferred into the new housing. Soldering of three wires is required only if you wish to use the physical button-controlled OSD menu; these wires can be omitted if this functionality is not required.
