Installation & What's Included

What’s Included

1 × HISPEEDIDO IPS LCD for PSP 1000.

Installation

Installation involves removing the front faceplate, carefully disconnecting the original display and fitting the replacement IPS LCD behind the existing screen lens.

Two motherboard pads must be bridged with solder. Their location varies between PSP 1000 motherboard revisions, so follow the kit’s installation diagrams for your specific board.

You’ll need a precision Phillips screwdriver, plastic opening tools and suitable soldering equipment. Handle ribbon cables and connector latches carefully, and keep the screen and lens free from dust during assembly.

Description

Refresh your PSP 1000 with the HISPEEDIDO IPS LCD upgrade. Its bright 4.3-inch display offers wide viewing angles and reduced motion smearing, while retaining the original screen size and 480 × 272 resolution.

The screen fits inside the original housing without shell cutting or a separate ribbon cable adapter. Installation requires soldering two motherboard pads together, so previous soldering experience is recommended.
